The Cranks

The-Cranks-475x443

The Cranks’ producer Chris Gowland contacted Tony at Studio Lifeline to learn advanced production techniques and for training in Studio One. The Cranks are twins Connor and Haley Gowland and Alex Markoski. They write, record and perform upbeat indie rock that’s melodic, dynamic, and energetic. The 2015 release “Cute Hat” was recorded at Rocking Horse Studio and produced by Brian Coombes, New England Music Awards producer of the Year nominee. The Cranks’ songwriting is reminiscent of 90’s post punk rockers with the modern dynamics of Guster and the power of Kings of Leon. With Haley’s melodic vocals in front, the sound has been described as “The Strokes meets Paramore”
